A LITTLE ABOUT US

WHO IS CRAFTWORK KITCHEN COLLECTIVE

Craftwork Kitchen Collective is a shared commissary kitchen, providing state-inspected kitchen facilities, communal office space and business services, as well as brand consulting and content creation space to food-focused entrepreneurs in the Springfield, Missouri metropolitan area.

Inspired by the local culinary culture and creative spirit found throughout Springfield, CKC was born out of a deep need in our community. There is an obvious shortage of places where small business owners can not only gain access to the various physical spaces they need to make their goals a reality, but where they can gather to share ideas, host “pop-ups” and test audiences, and collaborate with other culinary creatives around the Ozarks.

Craftwork Kitchen Collective will grow the local food scene while providing the community with food-focused education and opportunities.

In a recent survey, 50% of participants said that sharing kitchen and storage space would significantly help alleviate or decrease business expenses and relieve stress in owning a business. When asked what the highest expenses were in operating a business, the top answers were space, food costs, and labor. What if there were a way to take away additional stresses by leaning into a shared, communal model when it came to operating a food-focused business?
